Dr. Omar Quiles, MD
Omar Quiles, MD completed a Fellowship in Pain Management Residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and an internship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Transitional (San Juan City Hospital, Puerto Rico).
Omar Quiles has been a pain management physician since 2009, and enjoys the opportunity to work with patients each and every day in order to help alleviate pain and enrich their lives.
Dr. Quiles was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He knew early on that medicine was a good fit for his personality and his passion to help people live healthier, more complete lives.
He attended undergraduate school at Cornell University and then moved back to Puerto Rico to attend medical school at the University of Puerto Rico.
Living in a variety of places (San Juan, Baltimore, St. Augustine, and Orlando) has given Dr. Quiles a unique perspective on various cultures, and he is also fluent in both English and Spanish.
He enjoys kayaking, numismatics, hiking, and animal communication. If Dr. Quiles were not a doctor, he would have chosen to be a chef in New York City or he would be a nurse. He is looking forward to becoming part of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Program and volunteering his spare time at local hospitals.
